Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths
We act as a Notary to witness or certify the execution of documents as well as certify true copies of original documents. We also act as a Commissioner for Oaths to administer oaths or take affidavits, affirmations, or declarations.
An affidavit is a written statement formally confirmed by swearing an oath or affirming before a Notary or a Commissioner for Oaths. Affidavits can serve as evidence in court. A statutory declaration is a formal declaration completed in a prescribed form that has legal force similar to an oath or affirmation.
Affidavits and statutory declarations are statements of facts that are used to establish legal rights. To be legally valid, the oath, affirmation or declaration must be completed in a prescribed manner and be administered properly. It is critical to consult a lawyer if you need help in preparing any of those documents to ensure they are legally valid.
Personal Guarantees
A personal guarantee is a promise to accept responsibility for another party's debt or obligation if that party fails to pay or perform. The legislation provides that a guarantee given by a person is not legally valid unless the person entering into the guarantee appears before a lawyer.

If you are completing a transaction in a foreign jurisdiction, we can act as a Signing Agent, so you are able to execute the transaction documents in our office and eliminate the need for you to travel to a foreign jurisdiction.
